Terry Holloway, Media and Installation Artist

Terry Holloway was born in Oklahoma in 1981. He received his BFA from the School of Art at the University of Oklahoma in 2004. Holloway has exhibited his work across the US,including Aqua Art Miami at the Aqua Hotel in Miami, Fred Jones Jr. Art Museum in Norman, Oklahoma and the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art in Eugene, Oregon. His film and video work has been screened in the Deadcenter Film Festival in Oklahoma City and Open Lens Film Festival in Eugene. In 2011, Holloway’s film “Pedal Power” won the Platinum Award for Best Documentary in the Oregon Film Awards. His work focuses on exaggerated scenes of everyday life and the absurdity of American pop culture. He is known for his immersive, large-scale, technology based art installations placed at random throughout the community. Terry Holloway has been working out of Eugene, Oregon since 2005.
